Make it work.
Make it safe.
Make it last.

We design and implement Ai and automation inside day-to-day workflows, built to support auditability, information security, and human accountability. ISO-aligned thinking (27001/42001). Strategy, governance, implementation: one plan, executed.

How It Works

From first conversation to continuous improvement.

Why Our Ai Technology?

  • Productivity that holds up under scrutiny: We use Ai to remove operational friction, while keeping decisions traceable, reviewable, and owned by real people.
  • Governance by design, not retrofit: Security, accountability, and audit evidence are built into the way systems are designed and run, aligned to ISO thinking (27001/42001) to support defensible delivery.
  • Sustainable growth, not short-term hacks: We prioritise systems that reduce waste, improve reliability, and scale without creating new risk or hidden cost.
  • Prosperity with responsibility: Our ecosystem approach is built to increase performance while protecting people and the planet: technology that elevates purpose, not just margin.

Our Engagement Roadmap

From first conversation to continuous improvement.

01

Identify

Decide what is actually worth building.

We align on how work really happens in your organisation, where time is lost and effort accumulates, then narrow down to the opportunities that create real, measurable impact.

02

Develop

Build it right so it works from day one.

We design and build Ai systems that integrate cleanly into your existing tools and workflows, built for reliability, security, and real-world operation. No fragile demos.

03

Adopt

Make Ai part of how work actually gets done.

We work alongside your teams to ensure new systems are understood, trusted, and used day to day. The goal is not a handover, it is ownership.

04

Improve

Lock in the gains and keep moving.

The most successful Ai implementations are monitored, measured, and improved continuously. We help you build the operating discipline to do that with clear ownership and regular reviews.

My experience working with Tom and iS3 to build out our interactive online course has been fantastic, not only because it works as intended but also because the process to get there was more complex than I had previously thought. Tom's ability to work through issues with our team who are both technical and non-technical is incredibly helpful to keep everyone on the same page. At the end of the day Tom has allowed us to focus on the creation of the overall experience and we can trust him to find a way to make it happen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ai governance is the system of controls, accountability, and evidence that makes Ai safe to use in real operations. For UK and EU organisations, it matters because Ai changes how decisions are made, how data is handled, and how risk is managed. Without governance, Ai typically becomes unmanaged tool sprawl: unclear ownership, weak access control, no traceability, and decisions you cannot defend. At iS3, Ai governance means clear decision boundaries, human approval points where required, audit logs, role-based access, and a documented approach to risk, so Ai improves operations without creating security, compliance, or reputational exposure.
We do not claim to make you certified or guarantee compliance. We design Ai and automation to support ISO-aligned governance and auditability. In practice, that means we build Ai systems with defined ownership and accountability, risk assessment and control mapping, traceability and evidence (decision logs, approvals, change records), information security by design (access control, least privilege, secure integrations, data handling rules). This approach aligns with the intent of ISO 42001 (Ai management system) and ISO 27001 (information security management): not just using Ai, but using it in a way that can be governed, audited, and sustained.
Ai can be energy-intensive, especially at data-centre scale. For most B Corps, the practical question is not whether to use Ai, but how to use it so the net impact is positive and defensible. Use Ai where it reduces real waste or risk. Prioritise use cases that cut rework, scrap, returns, travel, energy use, or admin load. Use efficient, existing models rather than energy-heavy training. Choose tooling with strong sustainability credentials and measure your footprint. Engineer less compute by design, and govern it like any other material risk. This lines up with what B Corp certification is about: verified standards around social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
We treat privacy and regulatory readiness as design requirements, not paperwork at the end. We implement Ai in a way that is GDPR-aware (lawful basis, minimisation, access control, retention discipline) and structured to support EU Ai Act readiness (risk thinking, transparency, accountability, and documentation where needed). In delivery: we start with process and data mapping, define human oversight and decision boundaries, build audit trails and operational evidence, prefer structured data over uncontrolled inputs, and implement controls around access, prompts, outputs, and escalation paths.
An Ai readiness assessment gives you a clear baseline before you build anything. It answers: Are your processes stable enough? Is your data usable? Where are the risks? What is worth doing first? Typical outputs include a readiness view across process, data, capability, and governance; a prioritised list of highest-value, lowest-risk use cases; a delivery roadmap covering what to fix first, what to automate, and what to govern; and clear recommendations on decision boundaries, evidence, and operating controls. It is designed to stop expensive Ai pilots becoming operational debt.
Decision boundaries define where Ai is allowed to act, where a human must approve, and what happens when confidence is low. Human-in-the-loop means people stay responsible for meaningful decisions: Ai supports the work but does not remove accountability. We set boundaries by classifying the decision (risk, impact, reversibility), defining approval points and escalation paths, logging what the Ai did and who approved, and designing safe failure behaviours (pause, route to review, or fall back to a standard process). This is one of the biggest reasons organisations trust governed Ai: you can explain it, audit it, and operate it under real conditions.
